About “31st Street View”
This South Chicago plein air painting titled “31st Street View” is of the beautiful Chicago skyline facing North from the 31st Street Harbor. I did this plein air painting on October 23, 2016 on an unusual 70 degree but windy day. I was so happy to be able to capture some of the lake’s beautiful Fall colors before it got too cold to paint outside.
