Plein Air Paintings

This collection of Chicago plein air paintings were created onsite entirely by freehand drawing at each urban or suburban location. Most pieces take 2-5 hours in a single session and then are touched up a few days later in the studio. About half the oil paintings were created during outings with the Plein Air Painters of Chicago.
